Lydia Cash grew up in the small town of Leeds, Alabama. Her love for music flourished as she began to study viola and voice at a young age. She studied visual art at The Alabama School of Fine Arts, and went on to study opera and fine art at Auburn University, earning her BA in Fine Art.
Cash moved to Chicago in 2013 without a plan, only the hope of advancing her opportunities in art and music. She began to paint more and more, eventually starting her own company, lydiastudio.com, creating custom paintings for homes and restaurants. Cash also began performing jazz standards and soul tunes with her husband, classical guitarist Justin Eisenbraun, soon after they met in 2016.
LCD brings their timeless style and genuine passion for performance to any event. Alabama native Lydia is a dynamic voice on the Chicago music scene, easily at home singing in the style of Ella Fitzgerald as she is the songs of her cousin Johnny Cash. Justin Eisenbraun is a classically trained guitarist with a lifelong love of blues and jazz.
The duo performs a variety of music from jazz standards to pop favorites.
